Welcome to the PupilHub interactive demo. This manual walks you through every feature, role, and workflow available in the demo so you can experience the full power of the platform before subscribing.
How to use this demo
Click Try Demo to start. You'll pick a role, sign in, and explore the platform from that user's perspective. All data is simulated — feel free to click everything.
Open the demo page. You'll see five role cards:
Steps:
The Administrator has full oversight of the school. The sidebar contains all management modules.
Widgets display Total Pupils, Staff, Attendance Rate, Outstanding Fees, Revenue, and New Admissions. The Class Distribution chart and Recent Activity feed give a quick snapshot. Quick Actions let you run key workflows.
View a table of recent admissions. Click Add New Pupil to open the admission wizard.
Browse all enrolled students with admission numbers and statuses.
View teacher and staff records with roles and departments.
Manage sessions, terms, and access result publication.
Monitor school-wide attendance rates.
Track revenue, outstanding fees, and payment counts.
School profile with name, email, and phone numbers.
Teachers manage their classes, attendance, assessments, and lesson notes.
Shows My Classes, Attendance Pending, Assessments Due, and Student Performance. Quick Actions for attendance, scores, and lesson notes.
Select a class, then mark each student as Present, Absent, or Late. Submit to save — parents are notified automatically.
View upcoming assessments and their due dates.
Enter scores for students. The system calculates grades and updates the performance chart in real time.
Upload lesson notes with objectives, content, and assignments. Students access them immediately.
View communications from parents and school administration.
Parents monitor their child's progress, attendance, fees, and receive school announcements.
Shows your child's profile card (name, class, admission number), Attendance Rate, Recent Result, Outstanding Fees, and Announcements count.
Click Report Card in Quick Actions to open a detailed interactive report card showing subject scores, grades, class position, teacher remarks, and an overall performance chart.
Opens an interactive calendar view with color-coded days. Green = Present, Red = Absent, Yellow = Late.
View school announcements and Acknowledge them to confirm receipt.
View fee payment history and outstanding balances per term.
Students access their subjects, assignments, and results.
Shows attendance, subject count, pending assignments, and average score. Quick Actions let you view assignment details or results.
Click Assignment Detail to view instructions, due date, attached files, and submit your work.
Interactive report card with an SVG performance ring, subject-by-subject breakdown, teacher comments, and term-over-term trend chart.
Manage school finances including payments, invoices, receipts, and financial reports.
Widgets show Revenue Today, Revenue This Month, Outstanding Payments, and Recent Transactions. Quick Actions for recording payments and generating reports.
View all payment records. Click Record Payment to open a multi-step wizard. Search for a student, enter the amount and method, preview the receipt, and confirm. A receipt is generated instantly and the parent receives a confirmation.
View all generated receipts with student names and amounts.
Click Generate Report to configure a financial report. Choose the report type (Revenue, Fee Collection, etc.), period, and chart style. Preview the data with interactive charts, then export as PDF or Excel.
Each workflow is a multi-step wizard. Here's how to complete each one.
Notifications appear automatically every few seconds. Click the bell icon to view the full notification history.
Click Switch Role at the bottom of the sidebar to instantly change perspectives without reloading.
All workflows use step wizards. Use Back and Next to navigate, or click the step indicators to jump.
Press Esc to close any open modal or workflow.
